This event is for internationally experienced professionals job searching in Canada. This includes international professionals immigrating to Canada in the next twelve months and newcomers already here. Newcomers must have an approved Permanent Resident Visa. Please note that this event has limited spots! The event is also for current JVS Toronto/ Canada InfoNet mentors and employers representatives who want to connect with highly skilled internationally trained professionals, mentors, employers and community partners.
This is an engaging virtual event designed to connect skilled newcomers with mentors, employers, and community organizations. It offers a valuable opportunity for internationally trained professionals to build their networks, gain industry-specific insights, and receive guidance from experienced mentors as they navigate their career paths in a new country.
Preferably, yes. You can still use the chat function to connect with others and visit exhibitors’ booths, but mentoring roundtables and the networking tool do use video calls.
This is an online event. You do not have to travel to any specific location. You can participate from anywhere with Internet access. The event is accessible from desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.
